Rows 2–6: 1dc in each dc across, turn.

Fasten off.

BASE FOR FLOWERS

Make 6dc in magic circle, pull tail to close.

Rnd 1: 2dc in each dc to end. (12 sts)

Rnd 2: *1dc in next dc, 2dc in next dc; rep from * to end. (18 sts)

Rnd 3: *1dc in each of next 2 dc, 2dc in next dc; rep from * to end. (24 sts)

Rnds 4–6: 1dc in each dc. (24 sts)

Fasten off.

SIDES/BOTTOM

Make 6dc in magic circle, pull tail to close.

Rnd 1: 2dc in each dc to end. (12 sts)

Rnd 2: *1dc in next dc, 2dc in next dc; rep from * to end. (18 sts)

Rnd 3: 1dc in back loop of each dc. (18 sts)

Rnds 4–8: 1dc in each dc to end. (18 sts)

Rnd 9: With contrasting colour if desired, ch3, 1tr round post of each dc in round below.

Fasten off.
